The inspiration behind this photograph was to create a sense of Serenity. While standing in this field towards the Finger Lakes in NY State, I stood and stared at the changing beauty in front of me as I was in a complete state of peacefulness. As the sun began to set I set up my gear and took this photograph, which captured what seems to look like an eye in the sky on the left side of the top of the tree. A truly unique capture, some have called it the eye of God looking down on me. The reproduction is dye infused with heat sublimation directly into Chromaluxe aluminum, providing a fade proof reproduction. The finish is a luster finish, which means the lighter portions of the image actually show the aluminum sheet. This is very nice, as the image will change depending on the light source. It is mounted with a silver aluminum cleat mount which floats the piece 3/4" off the wall. This is 1 of 5

I have been playing and recording music since I was about 17. I always had the problem of not finishing my songs, because I simply move on from idea to idea. If I don't feel the way I felt the day when I began writing the song, I always began a new one, and literally have about 300 ditties that are halfway complete on top of a good 30 or so that are post produced. I would worked 10 hours plus on a recording and always enjoyed multitracking subtleties in my songs, basically recording 30 tracks and panning things all over the place in a subdued manner on top of the main song. After a session I would have a new idea and would plan on going back to finish a song, but had new ideas that required me to put the previous song on the back burner, problem is I move on and my drive brings me to the next song. Since I started shooting photography, I find that I can apply the same concepts I did to music, but have a result within the click of a shutter button. I have fallen in love with photography and experimenting with various concepts. I love abstract work that features shots that are a one take shots, things that are hard to reproduce, like smoke flying trough the air, or ink splashing on glass, etc. I look forward to learning more and eventually move into a permanent creative field. At this point of my life I am almost willing to be a "starving artist". I have found that creative endeavors feed and spark my soul.
