This piece was born on impulse. The image is an expression of a king's grace. The display of total elegance. I wanted to represent what it means to be a proud african. I thought of a king who is vulnerable but yet confident in himself. I managed to capture this very moment in time and it was perfect...

I was born in Enugu in South East Nigeria in 1994. Having grown up in a busy neighborhood my love of the outdoors grew tremendously, but I wasn't well equipped for that social life being a shy kid and all. Throughout my life, I have always been fascinated by images and how the world is represented through the eyes of others. Naturally, I was drawn to Photography and Art. The interest was cultivated during my teenage years when I would draw portraits of people I saw on newspapers and magazine covers, and further developed when I opted to Intern as a Photographer. After completing my apprenticeship, I delved even more into my photography practice, which involved a whole lot of portraiture and fine art. The images I take show a desire to capture the dynamism of the human person. My mind works in a way that is spontaneous and that shows in my work. My style of photography is diverse, in that I am not bound by many limitations, but it still centers around people. I use photography to explain my thoughts and ideas where words fail me. I was a shy kid growing up and that made me quite isolated, but it didn't limit my mind. My mind is a colorful one, it collaborates well with my love for photography and art generally. I personally feel that the most artistic minds are the weirdest, that opens up many opportunities. I have also trained as a digital artist, specializing in digital drawings and illustrations. Most of my artworks were inspired by a specific emotion or topic as the case may be. I always try to convey a message with each art piece, although they might come off brash and raw, It's fine by me as long as it's out there to be seen. I have sold a few of my works as NFTs, but most of them have been bought off as prints. If I cannot capture it with my camera, then I will draw it with my hands. I am looking forward to my next adventure.
