I was born in Habana, under the ardent years of the Cuban revolution. My father One of the best known photographers influenced my formation and aesthetic vision, Through him I gained excessive knowledge and great skills and was immersed in a world where everything I perceived was through lights and shadows. Taking photographs to me is a necessity. It is the window in which I can particularly look and expose life. my images is how I integrate myself into a world that is there but in the way I’m imagining it. My work has focused in the search and revelation of a flat image into another dimension and a new context. One that moves beyond the technical aspects of photography each of the pieces is unique in its own
The idea of my art is to express visual elements with a sensorial and aesthetically point of view. Often characterized by our surroundings and its evolution; I perceive life as something masterful and that has evolved beyond us to reside in our visual horizon. I often represent the persistence of nature and try to recover what once belonged to her, the meaning of its contrasts and what we wouldn’t see or believe they existed otherwise.
