ABOUT THE ARTWORK
Photo transfer onto an encaustic wax medium Hello! Thank you for your interest in this piece. Here is an example of portraits I've done on old recycled computer motherboards. I shot the image of the model in my studio, and transferred the final printed image onto the surface of the motherboard. All that's left on the board is wax and the toner from the transferred image. I make the encaustic medium myself -- a combination of pharmaceutical grade beeswax and damar crystals.
