Faroe Landscape Nr. 1 / Prometheus - Limited Edition of 9 Photograph

Black & White, Digital and Epson Ultrachrome Pigment Ink on Hahnemuehle Photorag Satin 310 gsm, printed in size 52 x 111 cm with "cca 5cm" white space for framing, full size of paper is 61 x 120 cm. First completed work from Faroe Islands landscapes series. Shot during my 2017 winter visit, when shooting documentary about one pianist. Shot on 6x12 cm Kodak film with a prototype land camera from Germany with Rodenstock 90 mm lens. The photograph was taken few minutes before the light went completely dark, captured at the same time long exposure while filming the same scenery with movie camera - capturing the light going down. I was standing still and looking at the scenery with my own eyes for quite a time, as the two cameras were exposing the material thru the lenses. Wondering if at any moment someone or somewhat divine will land in the middle of the scenery, like Prometheus – either the man or the space ship.
