About The Artwork

One of many of my Minimalist Greek Images. This is from the White and White Series. Taken in the town of Kamari on the Greek Island of Santorini. This image was part of my successful application for which I was awarded the Fellowship of the Royal Photographic Society in 2009. The Fellowship is the Society's highest distinction. The picture shown with a white border is to show roughly what it will look like when printed on fine art paper and how much room you have for framing. It is A2 in size (other sizes can be made on request but I can only personally print up to A2) and ready to frame and printed by me on Permajet Portrait White Fine Art Paper using a Canon IPF5100 Giclee printer. I only sign my prints once I am totally satisfied with them. I sign and number my images in pencil on the front of the image and also provide a signed, numbered certificate of authenticity.

London born and working as a fine art photographer based in Hove on the Sussex Coast of the UK. See more of my work on http://www.tonybowallphotography.com My passion when making/finding images is to try and capture striking colour contrasts although I am also very passionate about minimalism!. I work a full time as a fine art photographer selling prints, canvases and greeting cards. Self-taught, having trained in Cibachrome and Black and White printing at Camerawork in London's Bethnal Green in the 80s. I have been taking photographs since 1982 and now work exclusively with digital equipment although some of my images are still scanned from film. In 2009 I was awarded the Fellowship of the Royal Photographic Society (FRPS - the Society's Highest distinction) in 2009. I have been awarded two medals by the London Salon of Photography - a rare and prestigious achievement. Work has been shown in RPS Members Exhibitions and their International Print Exhibition as well and there have been a number of acceptances at International Salons of photography. For ten years as part of the Brighton Festival I have run an Artists Open House and my work is sold in a number of retail outlets in Sussex.
