Ginkgo is part of the series "Fossil". Works looking at the human mind's inability to perceive time’s vastness and humanity's fragility. These prehistoric plants evolved before the evolution of bees. These living fossils give a sense of physicality to the viewer and an acute reality compared to stone fossils. A species normally lasts around 10-20 million years, these living fossils show the duality of both hope and frailty of life. Ginkgos - Considered a living fossil that first appeared 290 million years ago. Predating bees by 170 million years. Medium Size: 80x80cm Edition of 5 +2AP $3,500 Dimensions are image size only excluding paperwhite. ~5 cm Boarder Each print is numbered, signed, serialized, and presented with a certificate of authenticity.
