About The Artwork

I was inspired to photograph this hidden and unique location due to the proximity of the former POW camp across the street. I'm pretty sure this was once a building associated with the main POW camp. You can't see the open areas of this building from the road so passing by would never reveal the hidden artworks inside. Many people either appreciate or completely dislike graffiti. I'm hoping that viewers on both sides can appreciate this neutral depiction where it can strike conversation of either the graffiti art or the need to re-purpose abandoned buildings. I chose to shoot this in a neutral fashion since not everybody likes seeing graffiti due to the destructiveness associated with it, however, there are others who really enjoy graffiti as an art form. I wanted this to be a conversation starter of both art and the importance of urban development.

Shipping & Returns

Delivery Time:Typically 5-7 business days for domestic shipments, 10-14 business days for international shipments.

Many photographers are asked when they found photography, or fell into photography. In my case, it's the opposite. Photography found me. From a very young age when I received my very first camera (Kodak with flash cubes), I was taking portraits, diving into street photography, cityscapes and nature. I would shoot 3 rolls of 24 or 36 frames every other day which sucked up all my money, but I loved every moment of it. Fast forward to present day. I'm a published stock photographer. My photos can be found on various websites, blogs and digital pamphlets used by government organisations. I provide decor prints for "The Diners Corner" fine dining Jamaican restaurant in downtown Toronto Ontario Canada. I love what I do, and try my best to offer something unique, a perspective, a different processing technique, just something outside of what is commonly available.
