About The Artwork

Against deforestation, especially in environmentally protected areas, an unfortunate custom that is often misinformed to former owners that keeping nature healthy brings more benefits to everyone. With luck, nature reacts, we can see next to the trunk that appears dead, other small green trees are growing and if they are not cut down, in a few more years nature will make up for its losses. Photographed with Hasselblad 503CW, PhaseOne P45+ digital back. High resolution digital file, processed with layers of color and black and white contrast, to give the image drama, a mix of protest and hope for our green nature. High resolution file possible for large formats and sizes, mainly printed on fine art paper weighing 308g or more.

Marcus Luconi is an experimental photographer specializing in the human figure who has made his photographic career over the last 40 years. Fashion, beauty, fine art. His first major project was the creation of Kromak Produções Fotográficas - a company specialized in the production of fashion catalogs, which was in the market for 30 years, with one of the largest photographic studios in South America. Among his projects is Elemental, a photographic-artistic record that involves the human element with concepts of fauna and flora. -Elemental, man and the environment, shows the integration of fauna, flora and humanity, in a respect for nature and the need for conservation of the environment. -Transcendental Surreal, a mixture of images, with collages, assemblies and some fusions in Photoshop, to create a parallel, utopian world. All photos used are by Marcus. -Body Way, a project entirely photographed on BW negative film, photographed in 2002. Today, in 2023, it is being produced after digitizing the negatives in high resolution for large prints on fine art paper. Marcus Luconi, 1953, Santa Rosa, RS, Brazil.
