The praise singers / drummers usually wait at ceremonies for prominent men. the moment one is spotted, they start drumming. the drums are called talking drums and are used to sing praises to the perceived 'Big-man' . Incidentally the same drums can be used to abuse when money is not handed out. i traveled to so remote village to capture this photo.

I was born in Germany in the February of 1973. My Dad was just a young doctor and my mother studied languages in Berlin. I was a creative child. Tinkering with all sorts of things. I loved taking toys apart and i loved drawing. It was from drawing that i got into colors and brushes, making comics and the like. I got really good at drawing and many times i would draw the teacher in class and let others pass the picture around, just to disrupt everything. I got into trouble a lot. At some point i started to experiment with oils, pastels, acrylics and others.
