Horgabost Beach. - Limited Edition of 10 Photograph

I was interested in visiting the Outer Hebrides off the North West of Scotland for quite some time. The pristine beaches and rugged landscape were always an attraction for me. Especially in the winter months the light is quite subdued and the place is deserted, apart from the odd traveller and the occasional local, going about their daily routines. The island has an otherworldly feel to it. The rugged rock formations on the road from the ferry port at Tarbet to Horgabost feel like you are on another planet. Then, the water comes into view, and the white sand beaches the gateway to the cold waters of the Sound of Taransay. The viewer of this work will be transported to this tranquil and often dramatic part of the UK.
