Omkar received his education in photography from Sir J.J. School of Applied Arts. His shot to fame came from being one of the top contestants in India’s first photography show, the prestigious Nat-Geo Mission Cover Shot (Maximum City). With almost a decade of experience photographing professionally and being mentored by some of the finest photographers from the Indian Press, Omkar has built a steady reputation as a photojournalist. Many of his creative photographs have received critical acclaim and gained somewhat of a street photography icon reputation in Mumbai. Omkar has been the Director of Photography on Asia’s biggest photography and filmmaking channel, GMax Studios. Since then he’s gone on to shoot and direct over 150 assignments and has photographed some of the biggest celebrities in India and abroad. Omkar Kocharekar is the Founder of BWolf Studios working as the Creative Director. On-field, his expertise being, as a Cinematographer and Photographer.
