It is impossible to make things simply hover. Gravity has its way. Despite the illusion that it may be possible after all, gravity cannot be overcome. Because the illusion uses tools. From an aesthetic perspective, kneading compground is a highly attractive and versatile material, especially in the moment as it slowly tears apart. The tension within it is developed without any help, simply using gravity. The process photographed digitally in high resolution and heightened the impression of imminent diffusion by placing a second version of the motif on top of the first like a double exposure – albeit inversed. Invisible forces appear to pull at the material from both ends. The linearity of gravity dissolves into the movement of several force lines in opposite directions.

He has been producing for more than a decade analogue and digital explorations.
