I, THE BIRD Flying is a natural gift and the gift of flying has always been one of the abilities most desired by us, those who are condemned to terra firma but always long for the ninth heaven. Maybe it is for this reason why the bird symbol has been used quite frequently as a means of metaphorical expression in many cultures and traditions. My birds are placed in all these photographs, as symbols of the human soul. Looking at my birds, you would feel as if looking in a mirror because you would see your own inner being … like „a bird trapped in your skin cage”. This is a story, … the story of following your own path, while trying to find the road, the journey, the comradeship, the love, the craving and most of all, trying to find being “I”.
