III. Variation on a single subject Photograph - Limited Edition of 10

This series of four photographs captures the delicate beauty I encountered by chance while wandering through the enchanted groves of Switzerland near the Italian border. Each image shimmers like a reflection on water, fragile and fleeting, disrupted by ripples that quickly disappear. I found the river by accident, its flowing water, overhanging plants, and scattered flowers all forming transient, fragile impressions that my camera sought to immortalize. Separated from my family and feeling raw inside, I found solace in capturing these fleeting moments, as if I could pause time and live in a world of my own creation while real time flowed on indifferently. In retrospect, I photographed the same scene four times, yet each image is texturally and aesthetically distinct. I was compelled to explore my thoughts and emotions from different angles, as if different people were observing me from various distances. This self-reflective process seeped into my art, leading me to photograph long, lush green plants bending over the river from different vantage points, changing the visual narrative of each photo while depicting the same subject.
