I am a professional photographer living in Montreal, Canada and New York City . I have been using photography as a means to communicate my vision for more than 25 years. I am retired from the pharmaceutical industry, which allowed me to travel extensively. Nine years ago (in 2015) I was diagnosed with so-called early Parkinson Disease. This was the spark to live my life to the fullest. So I dumped day job, creating a life that I am proud of. As PD continues to throw punches at me, I continue to respond in kind. As of today, I am sitting in a hotel room overlooking the Philadelphia Convention Center waiting to have a discussion with clinicians developing a new radical approach to treatment. I am often quoted as having a special or different eye which to me is all about being opportunistic. And I like to do so in accessible areas such as the street and other places where I can claim energy. I try to study both soft and more potent energies. Through my projects, I have been known to monitor for, to test and to adopt innovation and its principles. As my friend Sonia commented Parkinson Disease allows me to live my passion in photography as I grow older. I hope my journey resonates with you to go out and boldly live your own life.
