This photograph is part of the series Incarnation, shot in 2021. For this photo series, I have asked each of the models to pose crouched and motionless under the spotlight. The light is voluntarily missing in chiaroscuro. Some of the photos do represent the body entirely still or in motion, some others are pieces of naked bodies, of all kinds, of all ages, of all horizons, composing a puzzle. Together these scattered pieces represent a unique body, that of humanity, alive, essential, evolving between its shadow and light parts. Digital photograph printed on Canson 310g fine art paper mounted on Dibond with Aluminium Subframe. Dimensions are 13,7 inches x 13,7 inches x 0,9 inches / 35 cm x 35 cm x 2,5 cm including the frame (as displayed on the photo, approx 16x20 inches / 4x4 cm). Limited edition of 25 prints, signed on the back and come with a certificate of authenticity. The print is sent framed, ready to be hung on a wall. Exhibition- Quality prints I would recommend purchasing this print alongside another one or two from the same series as suggested on the photos. The Process Images are captured on digital camera. The print is made with fine art Canson 310g paper and mounted on dibond with an aluminum subframe. The frame is made of high quality black wood. Born in Switzerland and living between Rome and Paris, I practice photography since I am a teenager. After a first career as a lawyer and advisor, I have decided to professionalize my practice. I studied photography at the Scuola Romana di Fotografia e Cinema in Rome, specially to deepen my knowledge on silver salts photography and traditional printing techniques. Mostly an analog photographer (Hasselblad, Rolleiflex) my body of work mainly focuses on landscapes, nature, and human subjects. My work has been shown in different exhibitions in Rome and Paris and was selected by the project Imago Mundi of the Benetton Foundation and its French collection «Instant Présent» in 2016, for my project on the global migration crisis. I consider photography as a major medium to interrogate the complexity of human beings and I believe that the power of images contributes to improve the world.
