Veronika Makeeva is a young photographer from Russia specializing in shooting horses and equestrian tournaments. She was born and raised in Moscow in a poor family. Even as a child, Veronika fell in love with horses with all her heart, and in adolescence she developed a strong craving for photography. Her mother was unable to pay for equestrian training and buy her daughter even the cheapest camera. Therefore, Veronika saved the money that was given to her for lunch, in secret from everyone for two years, in order to fulfill at least one dream. At this time, she studied various information on the Internet about photography in order not to waste time in vain. And it definitely benefited! After buying a camera, Veronika tried herself in various genres, attended free courses, continued to study the information available to her, began working with horses as a photographer and decided to go to college for this specialty. During this time, she has repeatedly become a prize-winner and laureate of various photo contests, including FestFoto. Veronika Makeeva has been working with horses for 5 years. At first it was private photo shoots, then she worked at show jumping tournaments. Now artistic photography with the participation of horses has been added to all this.
