This series won the Bronze Award in TIFA Tokyo International Foto Awa Hokkaido, Japan. Shinto religion in Japan believes that trees are inhabited by spirits. These spirits are called KODAMA. Some believe that Kodama are not linked to a single tree but can move through the forest. Kodama that are properly worshipped and honored protect houses and villages.
