About The Artwork
It started as a beautiful hike to the popular place called Ryten in the Lofoten Islands. On my way there the wind started to pick up and it started to get really hard to hike, then when i thought that i was through the worse, it started to rain and no light.. until i suddenly looked down at the beach and saw this beautiful light unfold. i knew i only had a short window to capture it so i used my zoom lense since i didnt wanted to waste time changing lenses and this is the result of that.

Terje Nergård is a landscape photographer from Harstad in Northern Norway. His passion started in 2013 when he had to buy a camera for his studies, and in 2016 he started to mainly focus on landscape photos, both wide and intimate landscapes. Playing with different focal lenghts and light, composition he takes he's viewers on a visual journey. He currently lives in Northern Norway with beautiful jagged mountainpeaks as his playground. He has also lived 2 years in the Artic wilderness of Svalbard close to the north pole and 2 years in the Lofoten Islands.
