Lava Horns - Limited Edition of 5 Photograph

STATEMENT I work most of the time with nature, looking for shapes, abstract landscapes, lines, patterns and textures. I require patience and a narrow observation. I have to choose from this observation, to select my subject from reality in order to re-create it, building a unique form of attentiveness to it. I usually use color as my main ally trying to excite the sensibility of my spectator. Through this transformation, my goal is to get the attention of the viewer and inspire others to awaken their capacity for wonder in such simple things that we can find in nature. ABOUT I was born in Mexico City. I studied Mechanical and Electrical Engineering at Tec de Monterrey (CDMX). Master in Banking and Finance, Tec de Monterrey (CDMX)/Universitat Pompeu Fabra (Spain). I began my photographic studies at the Escuela de Fotografía del Valle in Cali, Colombia (2012-2013). Later continued my studies in an autonomous way. I have also taken several courses and workshops with renowned photographers such as Kike Calvo from National Geographic and John Quintero, as well as the Escuela de Fotografía Motivarte from Buenos Aires, Argentina. Since 2014, I have been working with the theme of nature and textures. I have participated in group exhibitions in Cali and Bogotá, Colombia. Always in search for knowledge and learning, I'm currently studying a Diplomado on Professional Photography in Canon Academy in Mexico City.
