Savannah Dodd, b. 1991, is a photographer and anthropologist. She is a St. Louis native and a current resident of Belfast, Northern Ireland. In 2017 Savannah founded the Photography Ethics Centre. Her photography is heavily influenced by her academic background. Ethics is integral to the way that she works. She places great importance on process, modes of access, and engagement with the people and places she photographs. Her images centre on people, material culture, and the minutiae of everyday life. She often combines the disciplines of anthropology and photography to produce visual ethnography. Savannah's work has been featured in 10 curated exhibitions and 4 solo exhibitions internationally.
