Description: This market is one of the oldest in London, dating from the 14th century, and located in the historic centre of London. The enclosed streets that form these arcades of shops give you real sense of the feel and smell of the history of shopping in London. With the classic shop names, the colourful columns with strong red and gold themes, and the matching facades you feel like you have stepped back in time. The award winning decoration of Leadenhall provides a real visual treat for any visitor. It invites you to explore, to see what is in the next shop or round the next corner. No wonder that the arcade has featured in many movies. A beautiful cobbled street that makes us ask why we don’t have more of these covered markets. The 1950s and 1960s saw many of these arcade style shopping areas in the UK demolished in favour of multi-level shopping malls in many major cities. Looking at the feast of light and colour in Leadenhall Market, a modern mall just does not have the same impact or inspire the same feelings. Materials and certificates: C-Print on Kodak Professional Endura Premier paper, a medium capable of preserving the colors of the image as vibrant in print as you see on screen for a lifetime. It comes with a signed and numbered certificate of authenticity. NOTE: Under request and at additional cost, the image can face mounted over acrylic glass.

Born in 1984 and raised in Spain. During 2010 Juan moved to Basel, Switzerland, and he lives there today. His works have been created using scenes captured during his travels. He enjoys photographing a broad array of subject matter. Juan's work reflects his background as an engineer. Using advanced photography techniques, he captures multiple images at different exposures to produce a single image with a wide range of light. Since the human eye is much more sensitive to light than the most sensitive camera sensor, this approach permits the much closer recreation of the original vision of the scene with higher fidelity. Scenes are also interpreted by the author through the use of a variety of digital tools. Juan’s aim is to enhance the natural feeling of visiting and seeing the place. The result is a vibrant, powerful and realistic scene with a deep level of detail. Juan wants his work to create a scene the observer would like to be in, something to enjoy looking at, something that stirs emotions and feelings within each of us and speaks directly to the heart.
