Sunlight in winter Hokkaido is kind of rare, it’s much more likely to get snowed on pretty heavily. Which is wonderful if you ask me. But sometimes sunlight can change a scene dramatically for the best: I believe it’s the case here. The sun came out just for a split second just over this tree, giving it a very different look, some kind of pop. It almost looked like the sun was there only for this lone tree, to make it look majestic in the landscape. The original is printed on Hahnemühle Photo Rag Satin 310 gsm 100% Cotton white satin-finish paper and manually signed.
