About The Artwork

Eine ungeplante Taxifahrt entlang des Wiesbadener Kurhauses: Fahren, kommen, sehen, fotografieren - das alles verschmolz zu einer einzigen, schnellen Handlung. Wiesbaden is a great city with an even greater history that goes back deep into the times when the Romans dicovered the healing power of its hot water sources. The Wiesbadener Kurhaus is also famously known as the place where Fyodor Mikhailovich Dostoevsky went bankrupt due to his gambling addiction. But these are just some footnotes in Wiesbaden's amazing history. Did I already mention that the German Kaiser Wilhelm lived here as well?

Shipping & Returns

Delivery Time:Typically 5-7 business days for domestic shipments, 10-14 business days for international shipments.

I like to quote Andy Warhol: «I like to be the right thing in the wrong place and the wrong thing in the right place. Being the right thing in the wrong place and the wrong thing in the right place is worth it because something interesting always happens.» Curriculum 1: At the beginning of his professional career, Andreas Baier worked as a photographer for STERN, MERIAN, GLOBO, GEO, MAX and the two supplements of the Handelsblatt and the Süddeutsche Zeitung, among others. From the 1960s to the 1980s, his parents published the magazine KUNST. At that time, it was the German-language magazine for contemporary art with the highest circulation. Curriculum 2: At the beginning of the 1990s, Andreas Baier opened his London project agency "hamster&james" and also studied "Fine Arts" at the HBK Braunschweig. His analogue flashlight paintings have been exhibited internationally, auctioned at Sotheby's and published in over 30 countries – including the Chinese "people" magazine. Please note: Unfortunatelty the numbers of characters that may be used in this profile-section are way too less in order to publish Andreas Baier's list of portfolios/monographs up to 2018 in full.
