My new series titled ‘Lockdown Studies’ focuses on reusing test print images. After 2 years of creating and printing digital artwork I was left with over 500 'test print' samples. During lockdown in the pandemic I decided to repurpose these images to create a new series of artwork. All imagery originate from Landscape photography in the UK. Using digital techniques I focus on shapes and colours of the land and sea to create malfunctioning landscapes. My process involves breaking images apart until they become something new. Working with scripts and coding means the outcomes are always unpredictable and random. Lockdown Study #21 is in a limited edition print run of 10. Printed on Archival Fine Art Giclee Watercolour Paper (315 g/m) Off White, Acid free using Epson 10 colour pigment ink technology. The print comes unframed with a 1.5cm border and an additional 1cm on the bottom where the print is signed and numbered by the artist.
