Loneliness - Limited Edition 2 of 15 Photograph

Born in Moscow in 1973. Childhood addiction to photography gradually started taking more and more place in my life. The question that triggers me is how large is the author’s influence on the subject displayed. Where does the subjectivity start and how can I influence the reality? The tools that traditional artists employ, such as the choice of subject, inclusion and exclusion of details, the style of art, materials and texture, are not always available to photographer at the moment of the shot. I like “pure photography” and I make experiments a lot. Meanwhile “photographic” potential is not always enough to visualize the idea. This is how photocollage emerged in my life in the same row with traditional photography. Photocollage for me is the space of opportunities where I can insensibly change the reality or create new worlds.
