Love My Hair Photograph

I have always had a very strong pull toward the natural world when it comes to my photography. Personal quote, "Mother Nature is the most brilliant artist. With my camera, I am simply copying her work." My constant fascination has been with taking pictures that, when all elements of that moment are in perfect sync, the photo can bear a striking resemblance to a painted work. I have tried this for many years but until only recently have I been able to achieve this balance. Additionally, the types of works that I enjoy cannot be the simple picture of a flower but rather an image that can inspire an emotion or vision of the image being strongly beyond just a flower. The roses that you see in most of my work I grow myself and take great pride in what images they have provided me. I hope you enjoy these works and encourage your comments.
