About The Artwork

"Karakal girls". This series is about girls soldiers, serving in the Israeli army: “Karakal” unit , where boys and girls are serving together and perform combat missions.
 This is not a political project, I want to show one of the hallmarks of feminism in Israeli society. This series works is also continuation of my study theme of the “Feminine Essence.

Igor Kruter was born in March 1979 in Odessa, at age 13, his family moved to Israel In 2003 Kruter went to the Netherlands, where he graduated from the Academy of Art and Design “ArteZ”. After graduation, he did an internship at the Erwin Olaf studio. In 2010 Kruter returned to Israel and based his studio in Tel Aviv. Kruter participated in many international exhibitions and bianale, his works have been published in various magazines around the globe and his Art projects are in private collections in Europe and Russia.
