Make It a Better Place is part of my ongoing series : Alternate Universe(s). These digital collage pieces are explorations of activism. They shed light onto the issues I find important; particularly those of climate change and the transitioning (gentrification) of natural and man-made environments. With these alternate universes, I want to explore the topic(s) of Man and nature, Man vs Nature and will Man or Nature take over? What is possible? Each piece is constructed using my own photographic images, taken from my explorations of both the natural and man-made worlds. - Your print will be made on Hahnemühle Photo Rag Metallic Paper. While still using traditional methods of creation (ie. marker, ink, paint, photography) the use of the computer has become prevalent in my creative process, as it allows for a deeper exploration of textures, tones, and shapes. -
