About The Artwork

* Featured in the New This Week 01-31-2022 collection curated by Rebecca Wilson | Chief Curator and VP, Art Advisory * - Spending time at home really allows for one to analyze the nature of our surroundings; whether that's a trip to the forest or even in our own backyards. Regardless, we come face to face with the importance of the natural world (and all its wonders) and how important it is to protect and appreciate all that it has to offer us. Making Space for Nature is a unique artwork printed on Hahnemühle William Turner paper. The image dimensions are 18in x 24in with a .39in border making the external dimensions 18.8in x 24.8in. Your fine art print will be quality controlled and printed at the highest quality standards. Signed / Dated on reverse. Rolled & Tube Shipped. Exclusive Edition of 1

"Multimedia artist, Liz, brings an obsession for line, color, and negative space to every medium, concentrating on architectural elements and geometric patterns found in nature." - Aurora Garrison, Senior Curator - Artistically, I approach subjects with an engineering mindset. I'm interested in the construction of minimalistic landscapes, simplistic forms, and the themes of man & nature, architecture, and geometric design. I am especially motivated by artists such as Elsie Driggs, Charles Sheeler, Anne Truitt, Brett Weston, El Lissitzky, Lyubov Popova, and Blanche Lazzell. While still using traditional methods of creation (ie. marker, ink, paint, photography) the use of the computer has become prevalent in my creative process, as it allows for a deeper exploration of textures, tones, and shapes. -
