Making a rare exception to my own personal rule for. The colors are every bit as beautiful as MDS4, but they really are a new "palette" from the previous image, and they are no less engaging. I think though that they will probably appeal to a different group of people, and certainly, they will work perfectly with someone's decor that could not house the previous image. I do not see anything wrong with creating art that works as a form of decor, after all, bringing some of the beauty of nature into a room is surely a noble goal, and I also do not see anything at all wrong with art that is simply intended to be beautiful and serve no "higher purpose" than that. This is (unapologetically) beauty for the sake of beauty. I believe that beautiful things heal our spirits in a broken world and help us to generate feelings of harmony and peace, which has never been more important in our world which (as we are all too painfully aware) has more than a few heartaches to heal. Having said that, social commentary is an important part of who I am -and what I do as an artist.
