This was my first exhibition, "Nowa Ruda in a Matchbox". I built two matchbox pinhole cameras and captured the architectural essence of my hometown. This is a photograph of a town help centre, that helps poor people by supplying them with food and burning fuel for their stoves. This is black and white silver gelatine print on photographic paper, in size of approximately 40x60cm, made on fine art baryta paper by me in my darkroom. This artwork will outlive any printed media, because of its chemical stability. The are only two silver gelatine darkroom prints in existence, and there will be no more. This photograph was taken by my first camera; a camera made out of matchbox and a film strip. When you buy my original artwork you help me live and make more meaningful art, and you help me support my family. Thank you! Put something unique on your wall!

Poland
I was born in 1988 in Wałbrzych, Poland. I have studied English Literature at University of Wrocław. In 2005 I moved to Perth, Australia and since 2013 I live in Germany. I am a bookworm, musician and photographer. I want to be a „Total Photographer” painstakingly making my way through the history of this art form: from pinhole, daguerrotype, wet plate collodion, large, medium and small format to (now) alternative printing processes like palladium, gum dichromate and albumin prints. I love the classical way, though: silver gelatin print. Photography is a two step meditation process to me: first step happens behind the camera, and then the journey continues in a darkroom. I am a true slave of my camera and the fractal structure of my brain: there are ideas at every corner of thoughts. I am often surprised when I see my prints, as if I were absent in the process of making them. It’s like a trance, a lucid dream… Since 2014 I am a proud member of Lower Silesian Photographers Association, www.dsafita.eu In 2015 I won National Composers Award organized by National Forum of Music, Wrocław, Poland. My composition was played at the grand opening of the venue. My name is written in stone, but I'm not dead yet. "J’étais insoucieux de tous les équipages, Porteur de blés flamands ou de cotons anglais. Quand avec mes haleurs ont fini ces tapages, Les Fleuves m’ont laissé descendre où je voulais." "I cared nothing for all my crews, Carrying Flemish wheat or English cottons. When, along with my haulers those uproars were done with The Rivers let me sail downstream where I pleased." Arthur Rimbaud
