About The Artwork
One winter night I walked along the river. I saw a man walked on the frozen river. I was scared: winter was warm and ice was very thin. He came out under the bridge and disappeared under another bridge. This image is part of series 'Cold Nights'. Series was shooted in Saint Petersburg, Russia. It's about nights when you walk by city alone and everyone is a stranger for you. This work was inspired by german expressionist painter Ernst Ludwig Kirchner. I use monocle lens to produce more expression in image.
