With this series of images, I try to evoke a place, a feeling, like a kind of limbo, in which something is gestated.
If we take nature as a teacher: the autumn time teaches us to get rid of things, ideas and habits that are no longer useful to us, it is an invitation to the inside, to address the issues that concern us the most, it is a return home, stepping on the ground. And winter is its culmination in a self-absorption, in going to the depths of oneself, it is a time of recognizing oneself again, of gestating oneself, of self-questioning, of going and finding oneself with the center.
Nature is wise and works in cycles. We are also nature, only that nowadays that "negative" cycle of the wheel is suppressed a lot, they try to keep us always in a state of joy and exaltation. The system we have created keeps us distracted, busy, in order to be productive and useful.
Questioning oneself about the fundamental things is bad business, but I would love it, that just as an ecological and environmental policy is already taking place, there is also a politics of conscience. Thus, the business machine would realize that having healthy human beings is good business too: more creative, more motivated, more productive, happier.
