Art Description

Photography: Color, Digital on Paper.

A relatively small but interesting plant, a native of southeastern Brazil, Syngonanthus chrysnthos, also known as ‘Mikado’, is the subject of this arresting graphic image, an image that will stand out in any contemporary interior.

For the first time, this image is being offered for sale to collectors and lovers of beautiful photographs as a limited edition, fine-art print of 1/9.

This image was taken with a Canon full-frame digital camera. Under the photographer’s supervision, it is being printed by London fine art printers, Bayeux Ltd, using Hahnemühle archival Photo Rag Bright White 310gsm paper and utilising Epson printing technology and the associated K3 pigment inks. Such prints have an extraordinary density of colour, with good contrast, and hold even the finest detail. Each image is printed on an oversized sheet, with crop marks and sufficient white border. The surface of these prints is delicate, so it is recommended that they should be mounted behind glass, ideally using non-reflecting, gallery glass.
