Monts de Champagne Photograph

Staged photography with Thanatons, taken near the Monts de Champange near Reims/ France. One of my grand-grand-fathers was killed in WW1 on May 1st, 2017 at the Monts de Champagne near Reims. I already had created my Greenons and Erons as exchange particles for arts/creativity and love/lust. For the topic war, especially WW1, I created the Thanatons as exchange particles for death. In order to create a profound relationship with the landscape and history, I spent some time in France at that very site were the battles took place and my ancestor and many, many others died 100 years ago. I researched the old documents and was able to track down the very artillery position from which the platoon of my ancestor shelled the enemy's position behind the hills. At that spot I made my staged photograpy with my Thanatons with the "Monts de Champagne" in the background.
