ABOUT THE ARTWORK
This abstract art was conceived from a colorful photograph I made of the trunk of a tree. Observing the beauty of natural shapes, with different nuances and textures, I had the idea of batting one side of the photograph, to create something symmetrical in relation to the vertical axis of the image. The result pleased me very much and I'm sure lovers of abstract arts will be interested in this work.

Martiniano Ferraz is a Brazilian artist who lives in Recife, Pernambuco. It was during holiday trips, while still working as an architect, that he was charmed by photography. Nature, architecture and the urban are the themes he usually photographed. From 2020, while isolated in his home due to the Covid-19 pandemic, Martiniano Ferraz began to produce also geometric and abstract digital arts, where it is common to have vibrant colors and three-dimensional effects. One of its greatest sources of inspiration, in the use of color, is the art produced by the Brazilian artist Beatriz Milhazes.
