The entire series '(non)volatile' includes 12 photos. This is no. #9 from this project. 2. Details of the work I am close to the romantic nature of photography, an attempt to convey harmony, hints of poetry, sometimes delicate and sometimes even strong expression, addressed to a sensitive viewers, in whom it can evoke some self emotions, evoke memories or associations, impressions, or their own interpretation. My series '(non)volatile' photographs are an expression of immediate fleeting and difficult to repeat states, both in terms of the matter that was the source of the image, so the (emotional) states accompanying their taking. I created my compositions from forms shaped from water. Individual, unique forms, just like the crystal particles from which they were created. Impermanently, changing in time, processed by nature hour by hour, day by day, to finally melt and penetrate the substrate. Visible only when there is adequate light, otherwise they hide and merge into a homogeneous shapeless mass. With the use of the historical technique of photography - Platinotype - unstable forms of matter were transposed into a permanent material form, formed from the colloidal particles most durable on the Earth of noble metal, dispersed in the fibers of the cotton paper. The entire series, consisting of 12 photos, was taken in 2014-2015 in the Dolomites, Italy. This is photo no. #9 from this series. 3. Black-and-white photography is my favourite medium, where I have the full influence on the process of image creation, but I do not avoid the colour. I travel and look for places, where I can take my photographs, images of the surrounding space, which has made me stop by. My photography presents my imaginarium, my vision of these places. I use light and time. Light paints my photography, time is stopped or compressed into one frame.” In addition to using modern photographic techniques, in the "PhotoCave" studio, also creates handmade large format contact prints based on historical methods of Platinotype and Palladiotype. From time to time also creates intermedia diaporamas / photocasts, which treats as a separate field of creativity, where on the basis of own photographs or time-lapse films, combined with music and often poetry, uses the intermedia synergy effect. Works are in private collections in USA, German and Poland.
