About The Artwork

From the "Old Timer" serie. The car from "Orgueil" is a Cadillac Limousine, more specifically the one used by John Fitzgerald Kennedy Jr for his meeting with General De Gaulle, in France. About the "Old Timer" serie : When the car puts its history and its lines, at the service of the photographer and that through the eyes of the artist it reveals its own personality, a whole story is guessed, and can be told. It is by knowing the history of each of them (of these cars), that the artist gave it soul, revealed a moment that the car could have lived, like a hidden side of its memory that we are there unveiled. Whether moments of history re-staged in the JFK Cadillac limousine, or probable scenographies referring to the films "back to the future" or "the perfume", moviegoers will find the references highlighted as winks eye sent to the viewer. Combining the harmonious curves of Cadillacs with feminine curves, purists will appreciate the homage paid to Harley Earl and his successor Bill Mitchell, having drawn the lines of the most beautiful American cars.
