Each diptych is a two separate and individual prints/photographs. Each one of them measures 24W x 30H. Together measures 48W x 30H, without frames. I suggest framing each piece separately and hang them together. Signed, dated and numbered on the back. Printed with 1 inch white border. In this body of work I explore visual poetry in themes as the solitude, childhood memories, the losses and hopes as well as the restitution of the self. I was born in El Salvador but I live and work in Guatemala. I studied ballet and contemporary dance as I grew up and I used to draw a lot. Even though I've always took photographs, specially in my travels around the world, I began creating images in 2012 when I discover that Photography is my passion. For me, Photography is a medium that allows me express visually what I cannot in words. I am interested in exploring the dialogue between images, their potential as poetry pieces and the emotions that these language provoke in the viewer.
