Pink Tulip IV has won the following awards: Photographer of the Year Award + Gold Award, British Institute of Professional Photography, UK 2nd Place, International Photography Awards, New York, USA Silver Grenfell Award, Royal Horticultural Society, London, UK The tulip was one of the first flowers Paul photographed and was originally an Easter gift from his sister-in-law. She had planted a handful of bulbs in a pot and this little pink tulip sat outside his kitchen door for a while, waiting patiently for its moment in the spotlight. Paul worked on different ideas for this image for hours in his studio, trying out a variety of lighting techniques which would set the tone for the whole Petalum series. Pink Tulip IV went on to win him several international awards and it was also chosen for the Summer Exhibition at the Royal Academy in London. This is a limited edition (one of fifty) fine art photography print.

Paul Coghlin FBIPP, is a fine-art photographer based in the UK. His images have appeared regularly in publications and international exhibitions, including the Royal Academy of Arts Summer Exhibition in London and AIPAD, New York. Among a number of prestigious national and international awards, he has also twice received the Professional Photographer of the Year award from the British Institute of Professional Photography (BIPP); in 2010 and again in 2013. In 2012 Paul received a Fellowship from the BIPP, attained for “distinguished and exceptional ability and creativity”. In addition to his photographic qualifications, Paul also holds a BSc (Hons) Degree in Environmental Science from Plymouth University and a Post-Graduate Diploma in Remote Sensing (Earth imaging/Photogrammetry) from University College London. Paul is represented by Weston Gallery in Carmel, California, USA.
