About The Artwork
I took these pictures five years after Australia's worst bush fire disaster.The Mountain Ash trees in the forests of the state of Victoria's Great Dividing Range were decimated. From the air, the scale of the destruction takes your breath away, however on closer inspection nature prevails, and green regrowth is now apparent, representing bright hope for the forest. It is this hope that I describe in "Post Apocalypse," a series of 15 images.
