Rhapsody in Blue - Limited Edition of 3 Photograph

Series of photos I named Rhapsody in Blue because it reminds me of the same named melody when I look at the photo. The composition Rhapsody in Blue is mixture of classical music with jazz-influenced effects. Photo is the analogy to that. The composition of the photograph is reduced to blue, almost two-dimensional, and the body figure reminiscent of ancient sculptures and neoclassicism. The timeless beauty, the harmony of the curves. Jazz moments are pores, scars and tattoos. I really wanted to portray this body as a timeless classical beauty, with a touch of contemporary elements. Note: as suggested by a friend, I needed to emphasize that the model from this shoot, is a completely natural thirty-year-old woman without implants and aesthetic corrections and that the photo editing was minimal. Although Photography was once indisputable proof of truth, today mistrust in it has escalated to such an extent that this note seemed necessary to me. Indeed, through my work, I want to restore trust in Photography.
