About The Artwork
The original is a 4x6 tintype -made in the body of an old Burke and James camera, retrofitted with an antique Petzval lens. I scanned the image before it was varnished, and offer it here as an 16x20 print. I print on Crane's Museo Max paper using Epson's K3 archival pigment inkset. With the exception in an adjustment in levels, none of my photos have been manipulated in photoshop. What you see here is what happened with the chemicals in the body of the camera. Smaller prints are available upon request.
