ABOUT THE ARTWORK
The slaughter of this rooster inspired this series of images. Taking the life of a living being in order to consume it demands a great deal from us. In today's world, we are spared the task of killing the animals that end up on our plates. As a result, we lose respect for these creatures. What remains is only the meat and the pleasure of eating it. The individual being never existed in our minds. Everyone should slaughter an animal and prepare it for cooking at least once. Then we would all value the meat and the living being as it deserves.
