About The Artwork

The subjects' lovely spirit, transcendent in a time mired in fear, social upheaval, and a barely contained tide of anger, demanded more than a simple portrait. I merged the photographic work with the fine art of a well-regarded painter, with whom I work regularly, a person who consistently expresses his affirmative attitude in graceful, vivid compositions. The result, I hope, suggests the sort of elevated human spirit that will eventually emerge from this dark time. A collaboration with fine art painter, Austin Allen James. This work with be printed on the finest art paper, bu Que Imaging, an elite fine art printer based in Houston, Texas.
