About The Artwork
Supay II belongs to the Wiphala project. Inspired by the Andean Cosmovision and the symbol of the original peoples, Wiphala, I developed this body of work by metaphorically using the symbol as a prism. I photographed each subject through one of the Wiphala’s colors to symbolically connect viewers to the Altiplano, through Cosmovision.
