Many people face the increasing social isolation in many areas of our society by escaping in worlds of illusion. The fake – perfect- world attracts people feeling imperfect, being afraid of reality. Memes, Alteregos and Avatars embody the ego in cyberspace and conceal the real physical appearance. Life-size dolls move into their homes and lives for company or as a sexual partner. Perfect bodies and faces of virtual and artificial doll worlds are the new benchmark. The series "Take me to your skin" takes on the physicality of these illusional worlds. It represents the fusion of real and artificial bodies to supposedly "more perfect" and sexually “more attractive” and functional figures, so to speak "the best of both worlds".
