About The Artwork

On a Trip on Thassos Island, ever the adventurer, i ventured out onto the mountain peaks, with little water to spare, and little daylight to spare with only God as my protector, encountering bushes, snakes, goats, and monk trails, only after 10:00 PM managing to climb down the mountain to civilization, encountering a river that wasn't dried up, an hour before, as if an explicit answer to a prayer, Father knows, Father keeps, Father blesses. The Beaten Path is a play on words, a parable, a tale each one of us could relate to, to each his own wary visitation upon reality, absconding into the nature, and exploring one's own nature. It leaves a glimmer of hope almost, with the sun reflecting the crackles of time of the marble-like Greek stone. We are mortal. But what is in us lives on. Some in others, some in hope, that lives forever.
